Respond to intimate image abuse and deepfakes

How to document, report, and request removal of intimate images shared without consent.

Document the location

Save the page address, account name, and relevant dates if you can do so safely. Avoid reposting the material. Use the platform’s official reporting or intimate-image removal form.

Use the right reporting channel

In the United States, the FTC provides a reporting channel if a covered platform fails to act on a valid removal request. StopNCII.org can help eligible adults create a digital fingerprint for participating platforms. NCMEC’s Take It Down service is for imagery taken when the person was under 18.

If the material appears here

Use our content reporting page and include the page address and the location of the image or clip. You do not need to attach the material.
