How to compare AI video costs per clip
Work out how much an AI video clip costs when providers charge in credits and subscriptions.
Compare like for like
Choose the same clip length, resolution, and input type on each provider. Note whether the price includes audio or upscaling. A five-second silent clip and a longer clip with sound may use very different amounts of credit.
Separate the plan from the render
Record the upfront subscription charge and the number of included credits. For a top-up, divide the pack price by the number of credits, then multiply by the credits quoted for the clip. Check expiry and whether retries are charged.
Check how providers quote credits
